THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE PANEL.

A hormone profile, not a sperm assessment.

FSH, LH, testosterone, free testosterone and SHBG are considered alongside estradiol, prolactin, cortisol and beta hCG. Sampling time and medicines can matter. The pattern is reviewed with the clinical history rather than treated as a direct measure of the chance of conception.

Timing is part of the result.

These hormones answer different reproductive or endocrine questions. The sampling time, medicines and the clinical question guide interpretation.

What this means in context

A hormone panel does not on its own establish fertility, diagnose every endocrine condition or replace an examination and individual assessment.

KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE CHOOSING.

9 biomarkers.
The scope, made clear.

The headline measurement count includes multi-component panels where present. The included test records and their published nested measurements are displayed separately so the count is transparent.

Hormone context

8 entries
Cortisol (AM/PM)

Measures cortisol at an agreed sampling time. Time of day, medicines and the clinical question are essential to interpreting the result.

Read the test guide
Estradiol (E2)

Measures estradiol, an oestrogen whose interpretation depends on factors including cycle stage, medicines and clinical context.

Read the test guide
Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

Measures FSH, a pituitary hormone involved in ovarian or testicular function. Timing and other hormone results matter.

Read the test guide
Luteinizing Hormone (LH)

Measures LH, a pituitary hormone involved in reproductive function. Cycle stage or concurrent testosterone results may affect interpretation.

Read the test guide
Prolactin

Measures prolactin, a pituitary hormone. Medicines, stress and pregnancy can affect the result.

Read the test guide
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)

Measures SHBG, a protein that binds sex hormones and affects how total hormone results are interpreted.

Read the test guide
Testosterone, Free

Measures the free fraction of testosterone. Interpret it with the method, timing, other hormones and clinical context.

Read the test guide
Testosterone, Total

Measures total testosterone. Sampling time, age, medicines and other hormone results may influence interpretation.

Read the test guide

Beta hCG

1 entry
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, Beta (Beta hCG), Total

This package includes quantitative beta hCG alongside reproductive hormone measurements. The requesting clinician explains why this additional result is relevant to the individual assessment. Beta hCG is not a sperm count or a stand-alone fertility score. The concentration is interpreted with the clinical history, medicines and other investigations; an unexpected result needs a clinician-led explanation rather than a diagnosis from the number alone.

Checking a prescription?
Let’s make sure it matches.

THE RIGHT START DEPENDS ON YOU.

A useful package.
A personal decision.

Choose the investigation around the question you want to discuss. Semen analysis is not included. Normal hormone results do not establish normal sperm count, movement or shape.

01

A defined question

FSH, LH, testosterone, free testosterone and SHBG are considered alongside estradiol, prolactin, cortisol and beta hCG. Sampling time and medicines can matter. The pattern is reviewed with the clinical history rather than treated as a direct measure of the chance of conception.

02

Matching a prescription

Compare the full included list with your clinician’s request. Semen analysis is not included. Normal hormone results do not establish normal sperm count, movement or shape.

03

Following a previous finding

Bring earlier results and the relevant symptom or treatment history. The clinician can decide whether this scope, a smaller test selection or a different investigation is the most useful next step.

Questions to take to your clinician
  • What does this part of my result add to the clinical question?
  • Does the sample timing or a medicine affect this finding?
  • What follow-up is appropriate for this specific result?

THE NEXT STEP IS PERSONAL.

Bring the findings
back to you.

Connect the laboratory findings with the reason for this specific test. A report supports the next clinical conversation; it does not decide it for you.

clinician and adult patient discussing laboratory results
01

Review the hormone relationship

Discuss testosterone and the other included hormones with sampling time, symptoms and treatment history. Confirmation or additional investigations may be appropriate; a hormone panel does not replace semen assessment when that is needed.

02

Agree the next step

Discuss this result with a clinician who knows the reason for testing. Further investigations or follow-up depend on the actual findings and your circumstances.

Choosing for a particular need?
We can help you read the options.

BEFORE YOU BOOK.

A little more
clarity.

Preparation, sample types, timing and what the package does—and does not—include.

What is included in Male Fertility?

Nine selected blood hormone measurements support an individual reproductive or endocrine assessment. The full named inventory on this page is the scope of the package.

Does this include a semen analysis?

No. This is a blood hormone panel. Semen testing is a separate investigation when a clinician recommends it.

Why may a morning sample be requested?

Testosterone and some other hormones vary with time of day. The clinician can specify an appropriate and consistent collection time.

Can testosterone treatment or other medicines affect the panel?

Yes. Share all prescribed treatments, supplements and recent changes so the results can be interpreted correctly.

Can normal hormone results exclude every fertility concern?

No. Hormones do not directly measure sperm count, movement or shape, or address every reproductive factor.

How should I prepare?

Tell the team about testosterone, fertility treatment, steroids and other medicines. Do not change them without personal instructions.

Can I arrange collection in Dubai?

Yes. Choose home collection across Dubai or a visit to Intel Lab in Deira. Any health package waives the collection fee for its own visit; separate appointments are assessed separately.

What is the price and expected turnaround?

The package price is AED 399; the listed turnaround is 48 hours. Confirm collection and processing arrangements with the team. Turnaround is not a guarantee that every result will be released at one exact time.

What happens after I receive the result?

Review relevant findings with a qualified clinician alongside the reason for testing, symptoms, medicines and prior results. The report may lead to reassurance about the tested question, confirmation, a targeted investigation or follow-up—not an automatic treatment decision.
