Clear information. Clear responsibility.
Behind every
perspective.
A useful health article connects its sources, its author and the clinical expertise relevant to its subject.
Two roles. Different responsibilities.
The author develops the article and explains its subject. The medical reviewer checks the clinical content within their professional scope. The two roles are shown separately, with links to the relevant profile.
Each article identifies two different clinicians: one author and one medical reviewer. Their individual profiles explain their professional roles and link directly to their Dubai Health Authority Sheryan records. Dr Toqa Ibrahim brings general-practice expertise; Dr Nirupama Sabhapathy and Dr Joyce Jose bring clinical-pathology expertise.
Meet our cliniciansEvidence you can follow.
Look for sources and further reading at the end of each guide. Clinical guidance, regulators and other primary sources help explain the basis for an article. Commercial service links are presented separately from those references.
Review before publication.
The editorial workflow includes source checking, an author check and a clinical review appropriate to the subject. Publication and review dates belong to the article record and should change only when those events happen. A clinical profile or a structured-data field alone does not establish that a medical review has taken place.
Useful context. Personal care.
The journal provides general information. A clinician can consider your circumstances, symptoms and care needs individually. If an article raises a question about your care, our team can help you find the appropriate next step.
